Steps for Creating a Google Alert
- Go to http://www.google.com/alerts
- On the right side of the screen there is a place to create a Google Alert
- Type in your topic of interest
- Select where and what type of media you want to receive your information from (news, blogs, web, comprehensive, video, groups)
- Select how often you would like to be alerted (once a day, as it happens, once a week)
- Enter personal e-mail where you would like to receive the information
- Click Create Alert
